Terms of Use for Gneis Bouldering
- Parties:
These Terms of Use ("Agreement") are entered into between the user ("User") and Gneis buldring AS, and its subsidiaries Gneis buldring Bergen AS ("Bergen Center") and Gneis buldring Trøndelag AS ("Trondheim Center"), hereinafter collectively referred to as Gneis Bouldering.
- Purpose: The purpose of this user agreement is to define the terms for the user's use of the center's services and facilities, including the Gneis climbing app.
- Responsibility:
3.1 Safety: The User is solely responsible for their own safety during climbing and must follow the instructions and safety procedures set by the Center.
3.2 Age restriction: The User must be at least 18 years old to use the center without the accompaniment of a parent or guardian.
3.3 Insurance: The User is responsible for having valid insurance covering damages that may occur during climbing.
3.4 Liability waiver: The User understands that climbing at Gneis Bouldering's unmanned bouldering centers involves risk, and that all activities at Gneis Bouldering's premises are at the User's own risk. . Gneis Bouldering disclaims any liability for damage that may occur during climbing or other activities at the center. All users of Gneis Bouldering's services commit to accepting the center's liability waiver.
3.5 Liability waiver:
- I understand that climbing at Gneis Bouldering's unmanned bouldering centers involves risk, and that all activities at Gneis Bouldering's premises are at my own risk.
- I am obliged to inform Gneis Bouldering if I discover defects or deficiencies at the facility, or if I see that other people's behavior increases the risk.
- Gneis Bouldering disclaims any liability for damage that may occur during climbing or other activities at the center.
- I commit to familiarizing myself with the bouldering etiquette poster and the instructions posted inside the climbing center.
- Children under 18 must be accompanied by adults. Children at the center must always be under adult supervision.
Bouldering etiquette:
- You are responsible for ensuring others do not fall on you.
- DO NOT STAY IN THE FALL ZONE.
- The fall surface is for safety and should not be used for play or activity.
- Remember that not everyone falls straight down.
- Try to land with bent knees to avoid injury.
- Controlled downclimbing is recommended.
- In case of an accident, call 113.
Gneis Bouldering reserves the right to change these terms of use at any time. It is your responsibility to stay updated on any changes.
- Use of the App
4.1 The App allows you to purchase drop-in access to the Gneis Climbing Center, as well as monthly subscriptions and punch cards to use the center.
4.2 Drop-in access, monthly subscriptions, and punch cards can only be purchased and used by persons over 18 years old.
4.3 You are responsible for ensuring you have access to a valid payment method to purchase access to the center via the App.
- Drop-in, punch cards, and memberships
5.1 Drop-in access, monthly subscriptions, and punch cards are non-refundable, and you have no right to claim compensation for unused services.
5.2 The monthly subscription is a recurring subscription where the fee is deducted from the customer's bank card every 30 days. The subscription has a 30-day binding period.
5.3 Punch cards are valid for 2 years from the date of purchase.
5.4 Drop-in and single-use punch cards are valid for 3 hours.
5.5 Punch cards, memberships, and drop-in access are personal and should not be shared with others.
5.6 We reserve the right to change the prices for drop-in access, monthly subscriptions, and punch cards without notice.
- App functionality
6.1 We do our best to ensure that the App works as well as possible, but we cannot guarantee that the App will be error-free at all times. We are not responsible for damages or losses resulting from errors or deficiencies in the App.
6.2 We are not responsible for damages or losses resulting from your inability to access the App or the App being unavailable.
